The Odeon , Kos Island, Greece

I have crated a web page about The Odeon , Kos Island, Greece at http://www.sunsethotelkos.com/odeon.html

Located in Kos Town, the odeon is a short walk from the Roman House, the Altar of Dionysus, and the Western Archaeological Site.

The Odeon was built by the Romans somewhere around the second or third century AD.

The first nine rows of seats of the odeon are the original marble ones used by important citizens of the time.

The Odeon in Kos has been restored and is still used occasionally.
